Shift Manager role
Being a Shift Manager is a vital role. When your Deputy Store Manager or Store Manager are away, you'll have full responsibility for the store. Managing people, hitting targets and keeping costs down – this job will keep you on your toes.
You will be out on the shop floor amongst your team and your customers. You’ll motivate the team to complete their workload so that your store performs to our award-winning standards every day. The role's hands-on and proactive – you'll become an expert at delegating tasks, boosting performance, developing your team and prioritising your customers. With your keen eye for detail, you'll make sure every product is received, stored and displayed perfectly. Managing cash and keeping everyone in line with Lidl procedures are also key parts of the job.
