Piping Engineer- Dublin Sisk are hiring a Piping Engineer for Dublin with pharmaceutical experience. The Mechanical Piping Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and installation of piping systems for various projects. This role involves ensuring the integrity and functionality of piping systems, compliance with industry standards, and collaboration with other engineering disciplines to deliver high-quality projects.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, including mechanical, civil, and electrical engineers, to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Review and approve piping design drawings, specifications, and other related documents.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the installation of piping systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections to verify the correct installation of piping systems.
- Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the installation process.
- Ensure all piping systems comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASME, ANSI, API).
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in piping technology.
- Implement and adhere to quality control procedures.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including design calculations, specifications, and inspection reports
- Provide regular updates and reports to management and project stakeholders.
- Document any changes or modifications to piping systems during the project.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards associated with piping systems.
- Develop and implement safety measures to mitigate risks.
- Participate in safety audits and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements :- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with piping systems in Pharmaceutical projects.
- Proficient in using piping design software (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, PDMS, CAESAR II).
- Strong understanding of piping materials, components, and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Piping Engineer) are preferred.
