Temporary Services Package Manager- Mep - Data Centre- Nordics 


The MEP Package Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within a construction project and ensures that all MEP systems are designed, installed, and maintained according to the project requirements, standards, and codes. Below are the key responsibilities, skills, and qualifications for an MEP Package Manager.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop detailed plans and schedules for MEP systems.
  • Coordinate with other project managers and departments to integrate MEP work with the overall project.
  • Ensure that MEP designs are aligned with the project scope and objectives
  • Oversee the design process for MEP systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Review and approve MEP designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for MEP components.
  • Manage the procurement process for MEP materials and equipment.
  •  Evaluate and select suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with MEP service providers
  • Oversee the testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
  • Ensure that all systems are functioning correctly and meet performance standards.
  • Address any deficiencies or issues identified during the testing phase.
  • Develop and manage the budget for MEP works.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure that MEP works stay within budget.
  • Implement cost-saving measures and manage financial risks
  • Ensure that all MEP works comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures for MEP works.
  • Conduct safety audits and ensure corrective actions are taken.
 Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree typically in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • excellent Project Management experience ideally qualified to a recognised methodology
  • Be able to demonstrate that they have worked in a similar capacity on successful projects of a similar size and complexity
