Commercial Manager - UK Civils Business Unit, Coalville
John Sisk & Son are looking for a Commercial Lead for a highway reconfiguration scheme in Coalville, Leicestershire.

Role
Cost and value management for project, ensuring appropriate systems and procedures are in place
Financial reporting for project
Identify unacceptable terms and conditions and negotiate contracts with clients and employers
Identify unacceptable wording in bonds, warranties and other guarantees
Change management for project: record change and allocate responsibility. Evaluate/recover any change that is not Sisks’s risk/liability (including recovery from 3rd parties.
Risk and opportunity management for project: management (with operations team) of known and newly identified risks and opportunities for best project return as well as identification and implementation of mitigation measures
Experience and Skills
Able to devise, manage and monitor complex project cost reporting systems, with associated capacity to interrogate data and identify trends
Able to facilitate risk management reviews, identify and classify project and business risks, reconcile the interaction of various risks, and propose and implement viable solutions
Able to construct compelling arguments in pursuance of entitlements
Skilled negotiator able to manage and lead a negotiating team in relation to complex projects, and secure acceptable commercial results
Able to manage a dispute through any form of dispute resolution process with practical knowledge and understanding of all legal techniques attached there to
Qualifications
5+ years at this level with project history of at least £50 million
Extensive NEC3 and 4 experience
