Building Services Manager - UK North Business Unit, Oxford/Cambridge

John Sisk & Son are looking for a Building Services Manager to support the M&E delivery on a £70m Advanced Manufacturing project in Oxford and to be a member of the growing MOXCAM (Midlands, Oxford and Cambridge) team within the UK North business unit. A broad range of experience across Advanced Manufacturing, residenital, healthcare and commercial will be considered.

Role 
Reporting to the SBSM, the BSM has responsibility for the delivery of Building Services Systems across designated large and or multiple smaller scale projects that are  On Time, On Budget and meet the companies  Zero objectives of Safety, Quality and Energy.  By the application and utilisation of the Companies MEP Management Systems and Procedures, achieve the objective to deliver fully integrated  and commissioned MEP systems on their projects  that will meet the Specified Design and statutory requirements, leading to seamless handover with the building systems performing to the Client’s satisfaction.   

Experience & Skills
  • Over 5 years work experience in managing large scale and complex MEP related Projects.
  • Good understanding of the MEP supply chain market and dynamics in which the company operates,  
  • Professional Competence through operational involvement in all phases of large scale complex projects from Estimating, Pre- Construction, and installation, Commissioning, Demonstration and Handover.
  • Can demonstrate technical, effective interpersonal and commercial skills necessary to deliver large / multiple MEP Projects

Qualifications
  • Mechanical or Electrical Academic / MEP Technical  related Qualification
  • Membership of an industry related Professional institution such as CIBSE / CIOB / IEI or equivalent
  • IOSH or equivalent
