Long-Term Accommodation & Corporate Travel Executive

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Long-Term Accommodation & Travel Executive. This role is vital in providing employees with dependable, efficient, and cost-effective travel experiences, which in turn boosts our productivity and overall operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will be able to work on their own accord, producing accurate data analysis on market figures and knowledge of the trending housing market. You will assist project teams in sourcing suitable housing for employees and managing the long-term accommodation category with Sisk. As a corporate Travel Executive, you will also oversee all aspects of business travel within the organisation.

Please note: This position is primarily office-based but may require frequent travel to project locations in Ireland and across Europe for extended periods of time. A valid Irish or European passport is essential as well as a current driver’s license.  The role is full-time with occasional after-hours availability for travel-related emergencies. 


You will be:

 
  • Collaborating with project teams to secure housing within project requirements and budgets.
  • Negotiating lease terms with property owners and landlords for favourable agreements.
  • Advanced in Excel and confident to deliver accurate and efficient analysis reports. 
  • Addressing and resolve housing-related issues or emergencies promptly.
  • Conducting regular market analysis to stay updated on housing trends and availability.
  • Maintaining accurate records of housing agreements, expenses, and correspondence.
  • Developing and implementing policies for standardized and compliant long-term accommodation processes.
  • Monitoring and manage the long-term accommodation budget for cost efficiency.
  • Tracking KPIs related to accommodation and recommend improvements.
  • Assessing housing needs, inspect options, and ensure standards are met through site visits.
  • Identifying and evaluate housing agencies for project locations.
  • Ensuring housing solutions align with project timelines and needs through close collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Responsible for all corporate travel, coordinating and booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and other details for employees.
  • Securing favourable terms with vendors.
  • Reconciling ad-hoc travel expenses made via department purchase cards.
  • The main point of contact when assisting with travel-related issues such as booking problems and flight cancellations.

You will have:
  • A degree in Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience and skills will also be considered.
  • Experience in managing long-term accommodations is highly desirable alongside meaningful experience in a corporate travel setting would be a distinct advantage.
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Proficiency in using travel tools like GDS, online booking tools and role relevant software. 
  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
