Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Health and Safety
Evolve best practises for operations and maintenance of Utility systems
Manage all contract works and 3rd party assessments including review of RAMS and safety plans.
Handling Work Permits and liaising with Engineering Administrator in compliance to site safety policies.
Up keeping and up skilling training of all technicians.
Utilities Management
Sound working knowledge of key utilities like water treatment, compressed air, HVAC, Boilers and Power Distribution
Leading the technician teams to ensure uninterrupted delivery of utilities for plant and process
Coordinating and maintaining the current operations program
Coordinating and maintaining the current maintenance program
Handling contractors and reviewing their onsite practices
Computerised System Management
Working knowledge Computerised Maintenance Management Systems {CMMS}
Working knowledge of Building Management System and tools {BMS}
Handling of Contractor Management System {CMS}
Running Utility system reports and presenting to management as required.
Facility Maintenance
Coordinating and handling 3rd party onsite Cleaning Contract.
Coordinating and handling all building maintenance works that happen onsite with the relevant contractor
Participate in projects for upgrade of building and facilities
Compile and document all statutory and regulatory compliance programs
Engineering Task
Lead the utilities technician team in day to day functions
Assist the team in trouble shooting and corrective action plans
Coordinate with other dept. managers to schedule work they require to be carried, and to ensure breakdowns are attended to as a matter of urgency
Education:
3rd Level Degree in Engineering in Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering
Advance computer skills, knowledge of MS office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of SAP/ERP system is desirable but not essential
Experience/Skills:
Minimum 3-4 Years in similar role in a pharmaceutical/GMP environment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work on own initative
