Location: Cork, Ireland.  Hybrid. With occasional travel to sites in Scandinavia (Norway/Sweden).

The Role
As a Network Engineer - OT you will support the OT network Architecture team. In this role you will work on driving the design, configuration and implementation of the IT OT network. The work will align with business requirements of a strategic customer in the pharmaceutical sector. You will ensure the seamless integration and optimal performance of OT network systems across the production landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating changes based on the network design received from the OT Network Architecture Team.
  • Scheduling implementation and downtimes with business contacts.
  • Tracking changes and escalations if business requirements are not met.
  • Attending testing and troubleshooting sessions to accelerate & restore implementation times and escalate to the Architecture Team.
  • Monitoring of firewall and switch logs during troubleshooting.

Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
  • Pharma Knowledge is a must.
  • Solid experience in GMP, cGMP and validation.
  • Firewalls - Palo Alto preferred.
  • Configuration of sub-interfaces
  • Segregation of networks with VLANs
  • Implementation of security policy
  • Configuration of NAT (PAT and static)
  • Basic knowledge of AppID
  • Routing and switching - Cisco preferred.
  • Trunk port configuration (802.1Q)
  • Access port configuration
  • Configure L2 VLANs
  • OT - Basic knowledge of the Purdue model and understanding the concept of DMZs
