The Role

As a Deskside Engineer, you will provide deskside support to users, being the subject matter expert for Technologies and Windows 11 and using support tools such as SCCM, Intune and Go To Resolve.  

Key responsibilities:
  • Act as the single point of contact for Windows and laptop related issues for users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents on DELL Windows 11 laptops (hardware & software).
  • Use Intune Autopilot to build Windows 11 devices.
  • Onboard new joiners to laptops.
  • Provide support with meetings when required ensuring meeting room Audio visual technology interacts correctly with laptops. 
  • Use remote tools to support users who are working from home.
  • Deploy applications via SCCM & Intune.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve technical problems relating to facilities - wireless networks, peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and mobile/smart phones including providing user instructions.
  • Work collaboratively with global teams for support in resolution of incidents.
Your Profile

Key skills/knowledge/experience:
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills on Windows 10 & 11 OS.
  • Experience of using elevated admin privileges and remote support tools (Go To Resolve) to remediate incidents.
  • Ability to build devices with Autopilot using Intune.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve Dell Laptop Hardware faults.
  • Experience deploying applications via SCCM.
  • Experience in modern EUC/services hosted on Azure and M365 suite.
  • Good communication skills and ability to engage with different user personas.
  • Motivation, Self-driven attitude and ability to learn quickly.
