Key duties and responsibilities to include:
Be a Certified Diagnostic Technician
Hold High Voltage certification
Have experience with diagnostic systems
Have an in depth understanding of wiring diagrams
Have an analytical approach to guided fault finding
Have a passion for the identification and repair of complex technical concerns
Hold a full, valid and current driver’s licence.
Display an ability to work to high standards.
Be diligent, with a flexible approach to work.
Possess strong organisational and planning skills.
Work well under pressure.
Be a good team player.
Have good oral and written English.
Post qualification experience with a Mercedes-Benz main dealer would be an advantage.
Conduct diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
Perform complex repairs and maintenance tasks on various vehicle systems.
Liaise with customers to discuss vehicle issues, explain repairs,
Utilize diagnostic tools and technology effectively to diagnose and resolve vehicle problems.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and inventory.
The successful candidate will ideally:
Relevant certification or vocational training in automotive diagnostics.
Proven experience as a Mercedes-Benz Diagnostic Technician, with expertise in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems.
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and technology.
Solid understanding of automotive systems and components.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
