Mercedes-Benz Cork is about to embark on its redevelopment to MAR20X dealership which is a comprehensive strategy aiming to exceed customer expectations and streamline processes for sales and service. We are currently seeking a Sales Coordinator to join our team in Little Island, Co. Cork.

Key duties & Responsibilities.
  • Unlock the potential of one of Ireland’s leading Mercedes-Benz dealerships by meeting and surpassing sales targets for both new and used Mercedes-Benz vehicles, supported by a high-calibre sales team.
  • Maximise the sale of new and used Mercedes-Benz cars through an effective sales process while achieving the highest possible profit for the dealership.
  • Maintain showroom and exterior displays to the highest standards required by the Mercedes-Benz brand.
  • Prospect for new and used car clients regularly using various sources to create additional sales opportunities.
  • Ensure the sales team introduces customers to aftersales staff, making them aware of the facilities and procedures.
  • Manage the stock of new and used vehicles to ensure an optimal stock turnover rate at all times.
  • Oversee new vehicle ordering, ensuring the correct model mix and specifications are selected for our market and region.
  • Handle all trade transactions with full transparency and profit optimisation.
  • Monitor and maintain an accurate appraisal process for all vehicles offered for part exchange.
  • Manage the preparation and handover process of sold vehicles to clients.
  • Work with the sales team to execute an effective follow-up process, maintaining regular contact with all new and existing clients to ensure strong relationships are preserved.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement a training program for the sales and front-of-house teams.
  • Ensure all customer information, sales activities, vehicle documentation, and other relevant data are accurately and comprehensively maintained.
  • Increase awareness of Mercedes-Benz Cork and the Mercedes-Benz brand through innovative and promotional initiatives.
  • Maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and build rapport with both existing and new customers.
  • Continuously enhance the manufacturer relationship.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the sales teams on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust sales goals to achieve dealership and franchise objectives.
  • Performance manage sales team to ensure they consistently meet and exceed their sales targets and goals.
  • Analyse market and franchise data to develop growth plans and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Branch Accountant to implement effective cost control policies.
  • Work with the General Manager to develop a franchise plan that consistently evaluates performance and identifies methods for improvement.
  • Monitor department performance against group and manufacturer KPIs, targets, and budgets.


The successful candidate will ideally.
  • Experience in a similar role with a premium brand preferential
  • Demonstrate financial and commercial acumen.
  • Exhibit excellent IT skills.
  • Capable of creating and delivering presentations at boardroom meetings.
  • Be highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Be a highly motivated and self-driven individual who leads by example.
  • Display enthusiasm and an outgoing personality.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to deliver compelling and persuasive sales and aftersales presentations.
  • Exhibit strong skills in closing deals and converting inquiries into sales.
  • Have the ability to negotiate objections with credibility and authority.
  • Be able to develop, organize, and implement successful marketing events and campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing Department.
