Role Title: Bank GP's in Enhanced Primary care

Are you interested in working as a bank GP in our new 360 clinic Galway? We are creating opportunities for regular bank / locum GP's to join our panel to support our primary care service in our new Galway clinic – operating 7 days a week.

Role Location: Galway 360 Satellite clinic
You will be working within the Enhanced Primary care team providing excellent patient care as part of a multi-disciplinary team with access to many internal specialist services within Vhi.

Role Purpose
  • Deliver Primary care to Vhi Patients as part of MDT
  • Walk in emergency Primary care consultation.
  • High quality screening consultations for Vhi patients.
  • Leadership and development of MDT
  • Further development of specialist services within Primary care setting ( GP special interest clinics)
  • Opportunity to work across other specialist services within Vhi
  • Coordinate an integrated patient journey across all Vhi services and liaison with external referrals when required.
Education & Experience
  • Specialist registration with IMC in General Practice
  • MICGP/MRCGP
  • Post graduate certificates/ qulaifications
  • At least 4 years clincial experience post graduate.
  • Quality improvement in practice
  • Clincial Audit
  • Clinical education
  • ACLS/BLS
