A full-time and permanent position has arisen within Vhi for a Project Manager. This role will:
Support senior leaders and other senior managers working collaboratively with the Programme Management Office in implementing best-in-class programmatic, planning and reporting methodologies to ensure projects are managed in a standardised way and delivered successfully
Apply project management principles, concepts and techniques for effective project management and independently manages and implements specific projects with senior leaders and stakeholders and ensures project teams are performing at their best.
Implement project and programme plan reporting, as well as ensuring communications and coordination of workshops and user groups are organised and managed in a structured way.
Understand the business objectives of H&W and play a key role in the development of an effective PMO function.
Represent H&W in interfaces across the business, with Vhi Group and with senior external stakeholders.

Role Purpose
Manage specific cross business projects under H&W’s strategic transformation and operational programmes in a standardised manner in line with the overall strategic transformation programme and in line with the PMO methodology to ensure projects are managed in a standardised way
Mange risks, issues, dependencies and assumptions for assigned projects
Ensure project scope and benefits are agreed and clearly understood by senior stakeholders. Actively track scope delivery and benefit realisation throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Support business leads in the development of Business Cases and other project documentation
Coordinate and administer project and programme steering meetings as required.
Ensure Service design methodology is followed and track progress against same
Lead and motivate project team members to deliver on tasks
Plan and coordinate project team meetings, user groups and other meetings
Produce superior quality project plans and reports to reflect progress of project
Represent H&W in interfaces across the business, with Vhi Group and with external stakeholders
Build strong relationships to enable delivery of goals
Espouse the H&W culture, values and behaviours
Facilitate various workshops and operational meetings as required.
The Project Manager may also be required to provide input and participate in ePMO-wide initiatives as they arise.
Education & Experience
Project management qualification
Relevant Degree level qualification
Minimum 3 years’ project management experience in an insurance or health related setting
Strong experience in project budgeting and value\benefit realisation desirable
Demonstrated alignment to Vhi values
Skills and Abilities
Technical:
Demonstrated experience of managing projects and leading teams.
Demonstrated strong
business analysis, workflow and processing mapping
skills and expertise
Experience working in a programmatic setting
Demonstrated experience with clinical setting with service implementation experience, digital health or telehealth desirable
Demonstrated commercial acumen
Experience implementing cross business policies desirable
Strong IT skills and ability to work with IT systems
Interpersonal:
Excellent writing and presentation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Exposure to healthcare organisations desirable
Highly motivated with strong work ethic
Proven ability to build relationships and work well within teams
