A: Screening is laborious and time-consuming for sure. It’s why I encourage employers to use our video screening tool. The simplest way to use it is to swap your phone call for a video call. You can engage with a candidate genuinely and authentically and make better informed shortlist selections.
That being said, my preferred way to use the tool is to set up an automated video process where you ask candidates to record answers to pre-set questions. These videos can then be shared and reviewed by hiring managers, speeding up the decision-making process.
What I like about our video tool is that it has been built by recruiters for recruiters. Not only is it fully GDPR compliant, but you can also add your employer branding to videos, creating a positive hiring experience for candidates.
